Kidnapped and tortured by father to convince him to go to Bama. Facebook threats. Traitor signs at B-ball games.

2 of those actually happened. 1 of them was rumored and believed by several AU fans.

Actually, 2 of those aren't true. There weren't traitor "signs" at UA basketball game. There was a "traitor" sign.

Is Brent's dad going to follow him to school tomorrow and force his hand into signing his signature on Alabama's LOI?No.

Brent's choice. Heavily influenced? Perhaps. Forced? Not a chance.

To be fair, I thought Bama fans didn't care about losing Calloway. Ahhh recruiting and lies.

At this point it is simply a Bama v Auburn thing. I could care less if he comes to Bama, but I would love to piss off some Aubs.

It won't piss me off, but he is switching back to Bama. He is for all intents and purposes a good kid. It was obvious he wanted to play RB, but its all good.

Brent Calloway's dad is not a Bama fan. He's a fan of honoring your word and commitment. He did the right thing by encouarging his son to handle things properly. It's refreshing to see. Honor is a rare thing these days. But AUburn wouldn't know about that. It was OK for Cecil to tell his son to go to a school nearby,(Auburn instead of the school he loved, Miss. St) but it's not OK for Calloway's father to tell his son to honor his commitment. Can't have it both ways Auburn people.

For the most part, I agree with your statement. I too, was raised in the school that a mans word is an unbreakable seal. The key word being "man". If "Peaches", had any sense or forethought, he would have ultimately forbidden a commitment 2 years ago, anticipating that there could be a scenerio that invlolved a chnge of heart. he was 15-16 yrs old at the time...WTF. I agree with the lesson, just think it may be being carried a little too far this time.

First off, you're full of shite. You act like there isn't a difference between a kid liking two schools and letting his dad choose for him and a kid decommitting from one school and swapping to another and then his dad telling him to go back to the other. There is a huge difference and you're also stupid if you think that there isn't.

For the record, I wouldn't care if we lost Calloway if we had another option at a true running back but he is what we have at this point so I hope we hold on to him.

This is the problem with the Auburn sheep. Whatever their mods tell them they believe and it breaks their little hearts when something does not go as planned.

What mods do you think I am believing? I am a member of AE too but I think most of them are full of shite too. It is easy to be very vague with predictions and when something happens say that you knew it all along but couldn't say. It is a game of perception like a horoscope, you can see whatever you want in a blanket vague statement.

What I saw out of Calloway was that he switched to us on tv, his parents were visibly very unhappy with it and now he will likely switch back.

He is, "pretty much" straight from the horse's (his father's) mouth.

Gee, i wonder why Peaches is forcing his son in a certain direction?

Father heavily influencing his son to a certain school...sounds familiar.
