Half the time you could barely see him.

The second half of CBS' broadcast of the LSU-Georgia game turned into a predictable infomercial for an LSU-'Bama rematch. Then, during ABC's broadcast of Bedlam -- with the No. 3 team in the standings still playing its last game -- a "BCS Lookahead" item scrolled on the ticker, providing assorted LSU-'Bama related nuggets.

No. And to add, what if he was still at LSU? And was all over tv? And to add, although a bit Whitney at times, I do not fault him for making his case for his team to play for NC. Anyone remember miles saying we were undefeated in regulation in 07?

It's crazy that ESPN allowed him to be on gameday. He was lobbying for his team. Why not let Stanford's coach on, or interview Mike Gundy? At this point ESPN should never be seen as objective or rational, so it wasn't all that surprising. It would be amusing to see Bama go to the sugar bowl just to watch the mass carnage from their fans.

didn't piss me off, but I thought he did a below average job from an analyst standpoint.

This.
He was lobbying too much for Bama, rather then analyzing the LSU/Ga game.

Yes.
Personally, I think it is an unfair advantage for his football program. Increased air time certainly doesn't hurt his recruiting. IMO, either the NCAA or the media should establish some guidelines for who they select to be in the booth. Seems logical that last year's coaches (Spurrier or Chiz) should have been there for the SEC commentary???

That's what happens when you coach for the premier team in the SEC. DWI you gaping hatchet wound.

Saban needs to bring with him some Houston phone books - the resdential and the yellow pages - to sit on.

Nobody wants to hear Eugene gum his way through a segment. You should be glad, it would hurt yall more than help.

nope...I was entertained by Saban's "left-handed" compliments...

Just reminded me about Bama not playing in SECCG, LSU beating Bama at home, and Nick playing second fiddle to Les.
