Opting out will be the story this season if the season happens at all. The team that manages to keep most of their starters starting will have a big advantage over those that don't...a deep roster will mitigate this somewhat so the usual suspects will probably still be the usual suspects dammit....

A source confirmed to Swamp247 that receivers Trevon Grimes, Kadarius Toney and Jacob Copeland and defensive end Zachary Carter all sat out of Monday's practice. It's unclear if they were the only players who opted out Monday.

Several Florida players had discussed opting out in recent days, including Toney, Copeland and Carter, posting various messages on social media. Their thought process seemed to involve a combination of concerns about COVID-19 and linking voices with the Pac-12 player movement that expressed a list of demands they wanted to see met before playing.

Carter, in particular, was a vocal advocate for some of the points raised by the Pac-12.

Another huge advantage will go to a coach who can manage all of this bullshite....this kind of stuff is seriously poision in the locker room....

Well now that's a complete fabrication. They all played did they not? Some went down during the game, and at least one played while injured but that is normal at that point in the year.

Sony Michel went down early in the 3rd quarter but you don't typically see us using that as an excuse....which is what you are doing. making excuses. Johnson didn't play defense and that is what cost Auburn the game. That and turnovers by your QB and RB and a blocked field goal and and and......so go ahead and blame injuries.

We got caught flat footed in game 1 and made bad mistakes. Auburn came out with a great game plan and outplayed us and whipped us. We turned it around and did the same to Auburn in the second game. The big difference in the games was Georgia adjusted after the first game and Auburn did not.

Lots of mutt fans interested in this thread, obsessed, maybe? Scared, likely? Worried, absolutely.

Ug's little run is ending. The Beast of the East is back.

None of the above. We are interested because Florida is a big rival. It's a simple thing to understand really.

Florida fans arent constantly posting in Georgia threads. Yall seem very insecure for such a "dominate" program

Trask is easily better than Fromm. I’d love to know if there is another SEC team in the modern era that won 11 games with their starting QB completing less than half of his passes in 5 straight games.

Asserting dominance over a rival is the opposite of insecurity.

Auburn at full strength in SEC Championship slaps the shite out of y’all like a couple of weeks earlier. Our top 5 players were out in the second game.

And what exactly is your excuse for losing to UCF with a healthy squad?

who isn't worried about a QB who hasn't taken a single snap with the team,

There’s a lot of contradiction about how bad Fromm was and how it’s still bad we have a new QB with better stats at the helm now. Our offense really can’t get much worse than it was last year and Transfer 1st year QBs have become a regularity and thrive as well. At this point last year the exact same thing could be said about Fields and Hurts having limited playing time with their team and they were in NYC in December. Not saying Newman will win the Heisman but it really isn’t a tall order to be more effective than Fromm. He was dog shite last year, was the sole reason we lost a regular season game ( 3 Ints, 1 Pick-Six), and we still won 12 games.

I think they are very comparable.

Not very mobile. Pretty accurate and efficient. Can be the epitome of the game manager.

But Fromm needs a WR with a huge catch radius. Wims. Holloman. Cager. Fromm's QB efficiency with those guys in the game is excellent.
Take them out of the game, and he is average as grits. Seemingly good throws/bad throws.

Fromm doesnt elude a pass rush and create offense.
He doesnt pick the team up and make plays on his own.
He gets a great presnap read and makes good presnap decisions and takes care of the football.

Florida fans know Trask better than I do. But against UGA, Trask did a good job taking what the defense gave him. And he makes a living by feeding the ball to Pitts (was Pitts injured in any game? I wonder if Trask was average during those games)
