Sounds like both. Sounds like he didn’t want to be there anymore because of O and then O and Alleva decided not to retain him for next year.

LSU paid him ~1.9 M last year (with Pitt buyout) and now looks to be on the hook for another 1.2 M (40%). Over 3 M for one average year of work. Impressive money management there, LSU. It's not like you can burn it like we do.

Per a 247 the remaining would be fully guaranteed. So that is damn near 5 M spent for one year of Canada.
