Brutal schedule.

I think OU and UF got the worst of the 24/25 opponents but both will be tough outs for anyone they play as well. CFP may not be in either future but both can frick it up for other teams (including LSU).

What?! I thought LSU was going to be untouchable this year.

This is a legitimate gripe or complaint or whatever you want to call it. Those schedules are bight and day even when you take out the game vs each other.

Perhaps the “bridge” schedule.

A gump actually “designed” it.

Once Saban got that break, he went into hyperdrive.

I mean, he was going to build a dynasty anyway, but having your schedule “modified” to cream puff level in ‘08, while simultaneously having LSU get knee-capped in the process sped up the process.

Afterwards, the gumps dodged nobody.

Mizzou was gifted a cream puff schedule in their first two years as well (no LSU, no Alabama).

Ours is hard but OU's is brutal. At least we've got Miss St and UK.

@ LSU (and confirmed to be a night game)
Texas
@ A&M
Miss St
vs UGA
at UK
at Ole Miss
Vols

Hope Longhorn fans enjoy baking in the sun during all those morning and early afternoon games. Thank god y’all put that ‘Time Window Key’ at the bottom for the largest printed letters on the page - I could’ve never deciphered that 11AM in huge font means 11AM in the Key.

I thought UF had the worst schedule because they were all consecutive.

Also, we did get to see OU shut out Bama last year which is unfathomable to us LSU fans watching Milroe destroy us.

Its going to an interesting year. If we can get thru that gauntlet 10-2 or 9-3, that would be playoff worthy imo.

Last year we had a really good defense but an equally bad offense. This year we made major portal acquisitions with QB and RB and WR. Beefed up oline and have some experience there now.

If our offense can gel then our defense is primed to be great. The D had no support and you can inly hold teams down so long before they score. Adding offense will make the D even better.

Another note, lots of BV bashing on this board in general, as a HC. He’s a D mastermind but he made some bad hires on O. He finally went outside and got a bona fide OC. And he decided to take 100% over for defense. Having capable OC will allow him to focus on D and if that OC is good then this team could surprise a lot of people.

He’s added a lot of front office staff as well. Jim Nagy of NFL fame to start. All these moves will relieve some pressure of what HC’s deal with these days. And allow BV to coach D and make game decisions.

I can’t tell you which games we win or lose, it is a gantlet of games. But holy shite, thats exciting to me and its why we came to SEC. Look at it from a fans perspective, thats a buffet of great football to see for season ticket holders. If one truly loves the sport give me our schedule over whorns any day. We will have to adapt or get left behind bit the game atmospheres will be second to none. Look at the teams we played at home prior to SEC and its a no brainer to go SEC and go up against the best of the best.

Looking forward to the season.

Oh, and in an ironic twist when we are the road RRR team it helps our schedule. You see, the home RRR team game counts as 1 of their 4 home games even tho its at neutral site. Means they only get 3 true home games (like OU last year). Likewise, the away team gets 4 real home games plus the neutral site game so really only 3 true road games. OU is the away team this year so it helps us out.

Did Brent Venables hit on Greg Sankey's daughter?

Now I’m just picturing bv saying perverted things to sankeys daughter and running off saying until next time like the skeletor meme.

BV: what’s the difference between jam and jelly?
Sankey daughter: idk what?
BV: I can’t jelly my dick in your arse, until next time! lol
