I hated that shite when Ark did it to us in Jerryworld.

Pretty sure it is wde. I went to the '09 gorge run and had a blast, some of my favorite current Phish shows and just an insane venue

It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. When the majority of your teams play in league games, it is hard for the media driven polls not to assume some sort of relative parity. Look at last year when people were clamoring that the SEC was top heavy. They didn't want to make the SEC the top conference because they like the narrative of:
0 loss teams, sort.
1 loss teams, sort.
2 loss teams, sort.
This is what the SEC chant is about:
- The SEC doesn't get the respect it deserves and the SEC chant is a show of solidarity that you will hear every time you don't respect it, from whichever of us you think you had a chance of beating, it makes no difference. My team may have two losses, your team may have two losses, so we got matched up in a bowl game, but my team is better. Much better. Deal with it.
