Even if Arky does not get Gus. This is a good sign. It shows maybe now they are willing to swallow some of that ridiculous pride.
It was laughable hearing Arkansas fans talking about how 2013 would be a fluke. And then how Bert had Arkansas on the rise... pure hubris and petty politics.

Waiting to see if Malzahn loses on Saturday. If he does he’s leaving, if he wins it’s Norvel. Book I?t. I?t will be done.

It’s either Gus, Norvell or Kiffin. Kiffin would be my favorite then Norvell. I don’t like the fact that if we get Gus it’s jusf because we are his fall back option because he’s scared of getting fired at Auburn. Norvell wants the job bad and Kiffin has a reputation to fix they will both give it a 110% whereas Gus wouldn’t.

There are quite a few of us that think this as well. Some are against him, but would probably talk themselves into it. This is basically our exact line of thinking. Heard he has been interviewed for the job. Has arkansas ties as well. We could do worse.

Me too. He would instantly improve our recruiting and by next year we would pull in top 15 classes. He’s my favorite choice but I’d be happy with Norvell also.

Heard it from people that I trust. Unfortunately it seems that the big faction of big money wants Gus or Norvell and the chancellor and JCP aren’t getting much of a say because money talks but there is still a chance that Kiffin comes out on top but expect Norvell if Gus falls through.

Well, I never said that any of those home run hires ended well. But they are definitely outpunching their weight when it comes to bringing them in.
Just maybe it is the location that Arky is at that makes it harder to get anything going. Also bad luck happens!

Arky fans, I’ve seen the acronym GOBN used a few times in regard to your search. Does it stand for Good Ol Boys Network or is it some type of official organization?
