it's fun to laugh about 74-72.
BUT
it's stupid to call all of those touchdowns as part of the final score. It artificially inflates offensive stats and criminally skews defensive stats in a negative way. There should be a better way to say that final score.
And since I'm complaining, move the ball back to at least the 45 yard line rather than the 25. Make the kicker earn that FG instead of a near gimmie (Alabama excluded from any gimmie FG attempt).

I'm with you on that one. I was glad that college football finally got overtime in 1996, but the format needs work. The whole "four shots from the 25 yard line" thing is too flawed
