He won’t keep Weiner forever but he is great at finding coaches. His coaching tree is pretty damn impressive and includes vitelllo

The question is can he keep the staff together?

You gotta think Nolan Cain is going to get a HC position sooner rather than later. He’s put in his time at now his third major program. He’s an elite recruiter. I would imagine his time in Austin will be limited.

Elite with zero national championships.

Let’s stick with he’s a good to great coach, but not elite.

Are you trying to tell me Bianco and Lemonis are elite? Or the dude at Coastal Carolina who made Omaha once in 29 years and won it all that one time?

I think he was saying that being extremely successful at otherwise unsuccessful places isn't the ONLY thing that you need to be elite. You also need a title.

Those other guys are the opposite of Schloss. They have 1 of 2 pieces.

Schloss is elite. He'll earn his National Championships while at Texas. He plans on coaching into mid/late 60s and then retiring with some life time left to do other things. He's stated that he doesn't want to coach forever like some coaches do.

Yup.

Cain and Weiner are the cornerstones.

Will be tough to replace.

...you still haven't listed which titles he's won.

So funny to watch UTranny fans hype up the Director's Cup and whatever the frick the sears trophy is because they haven't won dick in sports people actually care about since 2005

UTranny fans are Aggies in burnt orange
