I know Kiffin. He wouldn’t do that. Nice try though.

so what you are saying is NS should have been fired when OM made overtures to Kiffen and hired Kiff instead. What Nikster retires Lane will crawl to TTown should they ask him to.

Oh absolutely.

College football is all about offense now.

Saban’s crusty arse knows nothing about offense. I don’t think he knows much about defense tbh (see the countless 40 point shreddings over the last few years).

He literally just sits on his can eating cream pies and sucking down diet sodas

Would be hilarious if kiffin is the first former assistant to beat saban
Plot Twist: Saban will retire undefeated against his former assistants.

Disagree. Bama will be a .500 team at that point. Y’all missed your shot

But he knows people who do.

And he actually interviews them first.

Yeah it’s definitely time to move on from Saban. Please do so ASAP.

Ouch. That could be a shot at Senator Tuberville as well.

What have you seen from Lane that makes you think he wouldn’t run a school bus off the road to get to Bama to sign the contract the second they offered him the job after Saban retires in 2056.

I do believe Kiffin is smart enough to do this... plan for that one game, that one oppenent (Bama).

History has shown, when you beat Saban, a head coach can write his own ticket for either an increase or another job. Please ref: Sumlin @ aTm, O @ LSU, Malzhan @ Auburn.

But Kiffin is a mess. I've never understood the love for him. He's an OK game planner and caller but it's easier when you have incredible talent to work with. I do think he has a good rep w/ the player, though.

Also, everywhere he's gone, young women and daughters are at risk. He's not much better than Coach Yaw Yaw in that regard.

Alabama has given up 40+ points eight times in the playoff era (101 games). LSU gave up 40+ points five times just last season.

In other words,

100% true he was such a wreck they had to give him 3 IVs to get him sober. Go back and watch what a bad game he called too

No, but they did mess up by firing Lane Kiffin days before the national championship game.

Still one of the dumbest decisions of Saban's career. I think it was one of those "emotional decisions" he talks about

He has has top offenses everywhere he’s been. But the frustration is the set up plays for a knock out punch. If it’s not on that day, it can really set the offense back.

Lane is a talented football guy but he has yet to prove he can actually handle success as The Guy.

We'll see. It was easy for Ole Miss to give him a chance. After all what real risk did they take?
