Did Alabama and Oklahoma steal their uniform design from Ark?

I am embarrassed for you that you even asked that question. Alabama's uniform is basically the same as it was three decades ago, including the gray face masks.

All I know is that Coach Bryant changed our uniforms when he came to Alabama in 1958. I think we use to wear gold pants with red stripes.

An Arkansas assistant was hired as head coach at OU and took our uniform design with him in '66. They used white helmets w/numbers red stripe, plain white pants, before.

Arkansas used the current Alabama jersey design with a red helmet in 52, with white numbers on the helmet in 57, 3 years before Alabama switched from white helmets to copy us.

yea in 1930 we were wearing uniforms similar to the traditional uniforms that have been worn by bama and oklahoma..........















i have no idea. I really don't give a shite about uniforms cause the football field ain't a god damned runway.

This. Bama and OU's are full of tradition. Ark's look like any local high school with the piping.

Probably not. Most uniforms used to be basic and simple until Nike and Addidas came along.
