My favorite Ole Miss player to watch. I get nostalgic thinking about how every time he touched it there was potential to score. Today kick returns are boring 99.99% of the time, but not when he was back there.

Crazy thing about that year, Ole Miss didn’t even play him in their cupcake games to avoid injury I assume.
He could have put up even more ridiculous numbers that season….or gotten hurt.

Snead was a damn good QB. Being the LSU Ole Miss week it’s fun to look back at his highlights from that gem of a game in 2008.

Just abused PP7 that drive.

Wasnt Snead considered a Heisman hopeful one year?

McCluster isn't mentioned in SEC lore as often as some of his contemporaries which is unfortunate. He was the first player in SEC history to record 1000 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving in the same season. He had the unique ability to hit his top speed on his 2nd step and change direction without losing any speed. If he had elite top end speed and a bit more size, he'd have had a great NFL career.

Tennessee fans still speak of the McClusterfrick

I still remember watching highlights with Dex in the athletic building. I pretended like I didn’t know who he was and kept saying that 22 is fast as hell.

That was PP7 starting as a freshman that year. Gave up two completions, the second one he was in pretty good coverage, just a dime thrown by Snead. RIP to a talented QB.

He was a decent player for the Chiefs too.

Yeah no slight against him. He was still incredibly talented as a freshman and that 2nd pass absolutely was a dime.
Just a damn shame Houston Nutt fricked him up so bad.
