Does Devonta Smith torch Stingley Again for 200 yards and multiple TDS? Or does he take it easy on him and go off for 150 and 1 TD? See last years video of him getting worked repeatedly.
Torched

Good post. Stingley is terrible. Alabama's 3rd team left guard is better than he is.

That as sad as bragging about holding an offense to 13 points in a loss.

This post is about those two. Stingley got destroyed when he played an elite receiver last year.

I am saying there have been too many posts in the last half hour about teams other than Alabama and my feelings are hurt since 'Bama football is my whole life.

Well we started out the season with the worst defensive performance in SEC history, we lost our starting QB, we lost our best WR, we have 2 true freshman playing QB..

I feel REALLY good about this game!

CD Lamb went for 120 yards on LSU and Ross went for 76 yards... soooo
Also not sure if Ross is elite, lacks top end speed

You're right. Stingley has regressed and #6 has stepped up his game - if that is possible.

The way Stingley has been avoiding contact this year he has more no-hitters than Nolan Ryan.

Some might disagree but this is actually a good point and I believe you're spot on.. Anyone who disagrees can kick rocks..

51 of his yards were one catch not covered by Stingley. So 76 and 69 yards give or take depending on other coverages against Ross.

I’d say that’s pretty good. But some might still argue.

And I’m not taking anything away from Smith. He clearly had his number last season and potentially could again this season. But to say Stingley struggles against elite Wrs just isn’t true.

Who knows who wins the matchup this year. I don’t know why gumps have such an obsession with stingley vs smith last year though. Its kind of odd considering the fact that stingley was a true freshman and smith was a NFL ready upper classman

LSLOSE will protect D. Stinkly by putting him on Slade Bolden or Billingsley!

Yet he's playing in the NFL and you're trolling an LSU message board. Well done.
