Does Devonta Smith torch Stingley Again for 200 yards and multiple TDS?
The answer to this question will be determined by how well LSU can rush the passer. With the time Jones has had this season, there isn't a CB in America that can cover Smith.

Smith had 7 catches for 213 yards and 2 TDs.
One was 85 yards when the game was over, and one was 64 when the play was snapped when Stingley wasn’t set.
Takes those away, Smith has 5 catches for 64 yards and no TDs.

Take Burrow away from lsu and they lose 4 games last year, at least.

Devonta absolutely worked that poor boy.

Why would you take them away?

Nice try... Ross is still at Clemson and his future of being in nfl may be in doubt with a neck Injury before the season. Nice try tho bud

Why would you take them away when he got beat on both? Lol. The logic of some LSU fans

Stingley benefitted last year due to teams having to throw it nearly every down because LSU'S offense was so prolific! The Defense could just lay it's ears back and cause chaos! If they got burned on occasion, no big deal!
J. Burrow would bail them out! This made it easy for the dbs to just sit and ball hawk the football. Now, it's different and their true colors are being shown! Stingley is a decent DB however, I wouldn't, couldn't say he's elite! Maybe he does have the intangibles that make a great DB but so far this year their non-existent!

Stingley has low top end speed and gets burned a lot. He should move to safety

Sure Smith got the best of him last year but Stingley is the best CB in the country. If he was draft eligible this year, he’d be drafted higher than Surtain. Many NFL guys said he would’ve been a top 5 pick last year, but you say he’s only decent. STFU.

this type of trolling is not Bama

I just want to know when Stingley opts out like the rest of LSU’s program. I doubt we even see him next year lol

Objectivity.
He got “torched” per sidewalk OP. On two plays where he wasn’t set, and one in garbage time.
Alabama fans harping on last season of all of them is ridiculous. LSU was emphatically the better team and for some reason Alabama fans can’t seem to enjoy the present because of it.

I will be enjoying the beat down very much this weekend. If Orgeron doesn’t tuck and run

Because overall it was a pretty good match up the whole game. You’re acting out like Smith was lined up against someone like Castille.

LOL so if I enjoy watching my team destroy LSU I have shortcomings? Lololol

At least we not bragging about a one game win non-streak.

Wasn’t it 2 plays? One where there was miscommunication.
