Stingley will bounce back and play better. Don’t get why bama fans are bragging about a true junior whose easily s top 15 pick if he declared for the draft last year torched a true freshmen playing like his 6th career game lmao

That’s why he shut down tee Higgins Justyn Ross and George Pickens? Outside of van Jefferson and smith he’s played well against elite wideouts

How was the play at 1:35 not close? Stop having revisionist history smith got the best of him but stingley competed hard

Are you talking about the back shoulder where stingley has no clue where the ball is? I’m being serious. LSU won but Stingley had a Leonard Fournette type of game. Brutal.

If we are going to go back years than why not 2018 when burrow sucked balls. One good year and one bad year. He is 1-1 against bama. Yalls best player ever is 1-1 against bama lol

Yeah he completed hard but it wasn’t close overall. Just because he is in good position but gets mossed does not make his day any better LOL

Damn... I wish LSU's receivers would have some success against those amazing DBs from a1abama last year.

If he torched him this year ok I’ll give you credit but I’m not putting too much stock into a true freshmen getting burned by a true junior that’s simply an experience mismatch. Even y’alls best corner Patrick Surtain struggled against ceedee lamb when he was a true freshmen and lamb was a true jr

We’ll see after Saturday stingley has a year under his belt so we’ll see if that experience will help him more this year. If smith owns him both times then yea I’ll admit smith simply has his number but let me ask you something: if stingley gets the better of smith this year then what?

Once again a true freshmen on the road trying to single cover a true JR who could’ve been a top 15 pick is a experience mismatch this year will be a better measuring stick for if stingley can truly compete against smith

You can’t defend a perfect back shoulder throw any other CB would’ve gotten beat on that throw. Stingley didn’t bite on the double move and stuck with him down the field it’s a good arse throw by tua

He’s the only guy that beat Stingley deep. Jefferson at Florida won in some inside slants, but Smith beat him deep. I like Smith, I thought he was the best overall wr on Bama last year.

Yeah I agree, Smith is special. I’ve heard some comparisons to Marvin Harrison, which is as good as it gets

Stingley was a freshman, I think he'll fare alot better this game.

Well he is a true sophomore this year and Was better last year. He was very good as a freshman. He’s has been above average this year.

He is clearly a first round talent player though

Yeah to the LSU fans who keep pointing out he was a freshman last year as to why he struggled... why has he regressed this year? He had a great Fr year and has not been the same this year, although hes a great talent. If that is your excuse then it could get worse this year for him.

Hasn’t regressed he gets targeted less this year. Just last week he had 3 PBU’s and gave up 1 catch for 9 yards against the number 5 team in the country. This narrative he regressed isn’t true he’s been not only battling injuries but teams aren’t throwing to him that much this year your being a boxscore scout and assuming cause he has less picks he’s declined no it’s as simple as two things: teams aren’t throwing at him as much and he has been banged up with angle injuries
