I think he saw the handwriting on the wall. UK is looking at several candidates in the transfer portal and still recruiting. He just wasn't quick enough to be a SEC point guard.

He killed us with turnovers and unable to penetrate the pain to the rim. Say hello to Carr and Mintz coming back.

I felt bad for him last year because he skipped his senior year but holy shite was he bad on turnovers and passive play. He was killing the offense.
I hope he finds success, maybe UCLA will pick him up.

If Mintz is coming back and anyone coming in is remotely successful he won’t see PG anyway. This is one of those best for all parties deals. Wish him luck.

I feel bad for him. He really needed to stay in HS one more year. He wasn't ready for the speed of college. He was turnover prone, but he did get better as the season progressed.
He always played hard. I was hoping he would stay, but figured he would go when he saw Cal was continuing to go after more guards.

Kentucky needs to see the writing on the wall. This league belong to Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, and Tennessee.
Florida will occasionally compete again but Kentucky will be a mid tier SEC program from here on out.
