Mason is a good hire for AU. It’s a little idiotic to compare these 2 guys. Maybe this time next year we will all have a better idea.

That is like saying Saban hasn't called a Defensive play since he was with the Browns. Mason was a very good DC at Stanford, the talent level at Vandy made it very hard to compete. My guess is if he has two successful years at AU, he will get another HC job soon afterward.
