The three programs you listed have one final four between them all.

Look, I'm not trying to scam anyone here. All I'm saying is that of teams representing the SEC's banner, these are the championship totals. There are some accomplishments made by these schools prior the SEC's founding too, but I didn't include those either. And what about Sewanee, Georgia Tech, and Tulane AFTER they left the SEC? I didn't list any of their post-SEC accolades either.
Look man...You should rank a bb program on the total body of work from the beginning...Is that hard to understand??? That's how basketball historians do it. You cant take Arkansas' swagger and history away just because we switched conferences.. I guess Nebraska football before they jumped to the big 10 doesn't count??? c'mon man. If you really research our history you will be impressed.. The Arkansas Program has some of the most classic moments in NCAAA bb history.. US Reed, Thurman, ...WE are why The FAB 5 wore baggy shorts (look it up) and 40 minutes of hell was ground breaking and recently rated by ESPN as one of the most innovative influential systems all time. Shaka Smart even gives us credit for his style of play...And I haven't even mentioned the National Title games, FF's, and such.

What about Bama, UTenn, and M State?
You are clueless....

Who cares. I'm baffled as to why you just took the time to write all that out to try and convince some random person on the Internet that your favorite team has a good basketball history.

I didn't say that Bama, UTenn, and M State deserved the Top Four spots. I was just wondering where Korin himself would rank them (he mentioned his "Top 5" but then only listed four schools--what's the fifth school?).

I did, but they may have copied Michael Jordan (see this LINK).

Any of the other SEC programs outside of UK/UF/UAF/LSU could be in the 5 spot really.

All this petty arguing over second place. Lol

i personally think neither of them count for much. i'm mainly just laughing at how this is even remotely fair when 4 of the teams obviously are missing out on what 60+ years of opportunity for any of those 3, 2 or 1 points.
exactly it should be points for a conference championship otherwise this list is crap. Before Arkansas arrived in the SEC it was Kentucky and a bunch of nobody's. The SWC was a better basketball conference with just Ark and Houston than the sec was back then

Here come the biased opinions of what matters more: Bama's second in all time SEC wins or LSU's Final 4 runs and NBA greats
I think that LSU being a distant second to UK in SEC titles is the primary reason they have to be ranked third here. That, and the fact that they had the longest sustained run of an SEC school holding there on with UK prior to expansion, from '78- '93. They virtually broke even with the 'Cats during that 15-year period and led the SEC in NCAA tourney wins during that span also.

Y'all have 4 F4s. Bama doesn't even have 1. Easy answer.

2. UF
3. Arkansas
4. LSU
That should be the top 5.
I see addition isn't your strongpoint

Mizzou is another. You can't honestly think they're the worst historical program in this league.
15 conference titles
8 conference tournament titles
Of course that isn't the mighty SEC just a basketball conference that had Kansas & Oklahoma in it.
