Doesnt seem fair that ARk loses and goes home, considering the series is 1-1 in the tourney...
although just wearing out team's arms a few days before regionals doesn't make sense either.

I kind of agree, but knowing that every team that gets to today is already in the tourney, extending the tourney only increases the chance of injury for pitchers.
Now, if they said teams could carry 27 guys instead of 25 for the SECT, I'd be okay with it, but no team needs to stress their arms to win this meaningless trophy.

Sort of tough for Arky today when they won the prior game. Props to Arkansas for a good team FWIW

The RPI calculation is broken. They're right. LSU has about 6 more wins against RPI top 50 teams than the next team and we're at 6? We have the most wins in the country.
The ACC apparently has figured out the RPI puzzle because they have a lot of teams that aren't as good as SEC teams ranked really high in the RPI.
