As a Georgia fan a lot of people saying it was a bad look for him to chew out Lee like he did. I disagree, Lee needed his arse chewed out. I would have benched his arse way before now. Lee is a liability. Bama has one of the top cbs and 5 star in Edmund. I would have already been running him out there. Lee is a mistake machine, it blows my mind he is still getting a chance. However I don't think it is a bad look at all. He is holding him accountable and I bet money this has been building up in DeBoer.

Edmunds has been hurt since fall camp and is just about ready to go. I would have put another in though.

I wouldn't ever use Lee to return kicks either.

This. Saban did spank a player once on the sideline.

And, if he played for a Muschamp D, HaHa would have just escorted him to the locker room or the UGA sideline for his own safety.

Pansies. Lee wouldnt see the field ever again. I didn't know Edmunds was injured but I would put any other secondary player out there over Lee. Playing safety, not today , you are playing cb if I had to.

Lee has been awful, particularly on the one down that you don't want to be awful on: 3rd down. The crash out at the end of the game was the icing on the cake. If he doesn't want to be chewed out on live tv, then don't be a dumbass.

When he went out earlier in the game, his replacement immediately made a great play. The 6'4" transfer from Mercer.

Who knows. He has talent. Maybe it is the turning point for him. I guess we will see how he responds.

Apparently there were rumors that Lee threatened to hold out in pre-season due to NIL.

Bad play is is a problem but selfish decisions that have nothing to do with play that cost the game is just stupid. Deserved to get chewed out by DeBoer and thought it was awesome when Haha Clinton-Dix made him turn around to face him.

Another highly ranked recruit who is full of himself and think he is above the team. Those types never pan out well. He should definitely get benched next game

He broke his foot in camp. He's not healthy.

Lee is too small to be a linebacker and too slow to be a cornerback so naturally you’d think the defensive staff would put him at safety.

Lee sucks but the more I think about it the less sure I am that "You cost us the game" is accurate. Getting dogwalked in the trenches cost Alabama the game.

It's not why or what he did......but HOW he did it.

DeBoer has an obvious Scary, Uncontrolled Anger Issue that is "Pathological"!

I would not want to Play or Work around or near this guy! While Saban and other coaches would chew out and/or "go nuts" on players......it had an Entirely Different look/feel to it than the way DeBoar "exposes" a much deeper, hateful, very unhealthy demeanor.

I strongly suspect that there are very definite indicators, events from DeBoar's past, within his family, relationships, etc. that will demonstrate, document "violence". The guy is S C A R Y, and THAT is what/why people are discussing how/what he did with that player.

But it was not JUST that incident. He displayed the same - inner/deep - "out of control" behavior on several other occasions during that game!! Like I said earlier, he exposed his demons & what I believe is a diagnosable pathology.

No way I would allow my kid anywhere near DoBoer!

Man, I've seen Saban and Smart lose their shite like that on players. If a kid is going to cry about it or their parents are going to claim they wouldnt want their kids to play for a coach that would chew their arse then those coaches wouldnt want the kid anyway because they are probably soft. I will give that much to Lee is he took his arse chewing and didnt go cry about it and its probably because he understood he deserved it. However to me its not just the penalty. I believe this kid's problem is he gets too emotional and it leads to him making a lot of mistakes and until he learns to get rid of that it will always be that way.
