It’s June. You still have a worse class than LSU so I’m not moving any goalposts.

Your average is higher but you haven't filled in your class yet.
Are you going to be able to continue getting guys that level, or have they dried up?
Yeah a high average is great and you definitely want that. And when Alabama and most schools also only had 12 recruits, LSU class was looking great.
Now everyone has 17-20 recruits, and LSU still has 12. And while your average is higher than Alabama's, it's not that much higher. Alabama already has 8 more commitments at that level.
If LSU can maintain the average, it's a great class. But if you start having to fill in with other players who aren't rated so high, it's going to drop.
Might want to slow your roll.

Not according to the rankings on every single recruiting site.
It sounds like you're lying to yourself about reality, which is sad. You clearly can't cope with DeBoer owning the SEC just like Saban. You thought your nightmare was over when Saban retired, but it really was just beginning

By his logic, having only 1 commit who is a 5 star = the best class possible. hIgHeSt AvErAgE durrr
It's a major cope

DeBust hasn’t coached a game. How has he “owned the SEC”. LSU will jump back ahead after we get two more next week. And we have the higher average.

I wasn't coming at you, I was just pointing out that there are about 10 schools that can absorb a massive loss of a head coach (a legend in Alabama case) and it not decimate the program....the usual suspects of Bama, osu, lsu oklahoma texas georgia etc.

You're right, it's only June and no one has actually signed yet, but you have to admit, that from a recruiting standpoint, DeBoer has FAR exceeded everyone's expectations so far (including the expectations of Bama fans). It'll be interesting to see how this class ultimately shakes out for DeBoer.

Not really. Bama will recruit itself until he inevitably goes 8-4 or 9-3 and all the Gumps start turning on him

The recruiting ranking speak for themselves. Alabama #2

The vast majority of tRant was emphatic that DeBoer (and his hodgepodge staff) couldn't recruit in the SEC, so if you were one of the few who always believed "Bama will recruit itself [regardless of the coaches]" then

And yet you’re an LSU fan bragging about recruiting ranking in June. I don’t remember the last time LSU finished with a number 1 recruiting class so I guess it’s a big deal to you.

Not sure where this negative DeBoer talk has come from. He has won everywhere he's been and you don't do that without some combination of evaluation, recruitment, and development.
Opponents are sick and tired of getting their azz kicked by Nick Saban. Let's start right there. And second, it's really not that hard to keep wishing and hoping for the worst.
But the early returns on the talent level streaming to Tuscaloosa should suggest to sane folks, better get ready to assume the old position.
ROLL TIDE Y'ALL!!!!!
