Worst Bama class? Many insiders think we have a chance to finish #1. Cope harder bitch. DeBoer owns the SEC.
Your class average is behind Ohio State, LSU, UGA, Oregon and Clemson.
So…..

First stage, denial. It’s pretty clear from your post. You guys be scurrrrrred.
Second stage — will it occur after the Wisconsin game or the UGA game.

If Bama does take a step back it won't be much of a step back.....still alabama and still getting thoroughbreds.

Yup. On3 composite has Bama with the 6th best class according to the average

I know it probably seems that way when your team sucks, and you're getting your arse kicked by Saban every single year, but Saban only won 1 natty in the past 6 seasons.
He won 6 titles from 2009-2020 which was obivously what I was referring to. You're right there was some dropoff over the last bit of his tenure (3 2-loss seasons all in a row; ironically mostly due to a former assistant of his now winning titles like he was), but Saban dominated much of CFB for a long time, and DeBoer just is never going to be that guy. I'm sure overall he'll do pretty well there, probably win a title if you give him long enough, but you'll probably have more 2 and (gasp) 3 loss seasons and he just wont ever come close to the run Saban had.
You should be excited if he has 1 title over the next 4-5 seasons, although for some bama fans it might be too little unfortunately.

Should we end up with a Top5 class, which is very likely, they will downplay it. Top3, they will downplay it. Number 1, they will downplay it.
Face it bitches. Bama will be just fine. This man has won everywhere he has been. And when he whips Georgia's asses in September what will you say then?
As far as records are concerned, times have changed. It is going to be much harder to have unbeaten or one loss seasons than it used to be.
The goal is to make the playoffs and win. This years' team has a great chance to be better than last years. With a tougher schedule and path to the Championship. UGA is going to find that out.

"But he isnt Nick Saban, and he will never be Nick Saban. The sooner you figure that out the better off you'll be when you're not winning a national title every other year like you were under Saban."
Didn't les miles win a natty, then Ed O after him? If those two can do it I think DeBoer has a fighters chance.

Where did I say he wont ever win a title? In fact I said he probably will, he just wont ever be Nick Saban or close to that. It's not really a shot a him, just the reality nobody is Nick Saban and expectations will have to adjust. You could say some have already adjusted some with 3 2-loss seasons in a row and Saban calling it quits because he probably hates what CFB has become now with NIL.

Yet, they’re still behind Alabama.

Because you have seven more commits. Our average is higher because we are about quality over quantity

Alabama just landed a 5-star CB from California.
What category does he belong in?

Keep moving the goalposts.
When Saban left and the defections began, You all proclaimed the decline of Alabama because they dropped to 49th place in the 2025 rankings.
Now that they’re poised to to take the #1 spot, It’s because they “have more recruits than everyone
else”. Get the excuses ready. Alabama is going to continue its dominance in recruiting.
