As a devout LSU fan, I wouldn't be scared of Kiffin anywhere. I don't really want him at LSU. I think a big program like LSU, UF, or Bama would be a bad fit for him with the pressure and fans, not to mention his immature personality.
I won't melt if LSU hires Kiffin, but I don't think it's some homerun most think it is.
Also, he's totally a guy that gets a generational money contract and just fricking coasts. We've been through that song and dance, I don't want it again. I don't know if he has the drive to keep winning at a top level for 5+ years with all that money.
