Meh... That's the persona we've garnered but pretty inaccurate IMO. You can find both at either campus.

Well, student loans have changed the demographics of most campuses.
But generally, the song remains the same. If OM was a rich kid club, it will remain a rich kid club.
They might sprinkle in some other races and such to make it look good. It is what it is though.
Personally, I enjoy beating the legacy SEC teams. Hopefully tomorrow brings me more unadulterated pleasure.
But Freeze has your program headed in the right direction, I'm assuming the vibe will be epic tomorrow. Hopefully, you only win the party.

The demographics are identical... We just get a lot more of out of state kids... The only out of state people that go to MSU are usually kids from Louisiana, Arkansas or Alabama... That's really the only difference.

OM is more diverse than Mizzou.

OM and State have the highest black demographics in the conference if I'm not mistaken.

OM is more diverse than every school in the SEC other than State

Good on ya.
Given the history of the state, I'm sure it was of utmost importance to achieve that over the last 50 years.

I'm sure y'all will win the party, but I know this is gonna be a great game. IMO, OM and Wallace are pretty underrated, and y'all are gonna be a beast next season

It doesn't hold true nearly as much as it used to, but there are many more kids from wealthy families here than at State.
Well, it is still just Mississippi wealthy.

Lol.
You guys are way too touchy when it comes to matters of race.
Do you not think, that given the history of your state and your school, that the black demographic is something the University of Mississippi has tried to connect with?
Let's look at things from a matter of time.
60's - we all know the deal here.
70's - probably much time spent hemming and hawing on how to make Mississippi look less racist.
80's - more of the same, but the old guard starts to die off.
90's - strides are made. Numbers go up.
00's - numbers continue to increase.
10's - we get where we are now.
You've gone from what most people consider to be one of the most blatantly racist universities, to a school that has some of the best demographics in the SEC.
Not sure how that can be misconstrued as racist, it should be a watermark of progress. It took 50 years, but progress is progress.
The 50 year thing wasn't a knock on the uni. Just a statement of fact.
