Dammit I'm going to miss Mike at Mizzou. I hope he's not taking Melvin Watkins with him. Famous for giving us our 0-16 conference run in his last year. He paid us back by teaming up with Mike and taking the Mizzou assistant job and Mizzou subsequently going 0-9 against us there during his tenure.

For real... stealing from Mizzou is no big deal. What's going to be fun is stealing from the Corndoggers. Already spoiling their Thanksgiving pretty regularly.

I knew you guys would go hard after Anderson when I saw this post on our Scout site on Saturday morning, and then saw Mizzou scrambling to match.

According to the Arkansas guys, Turgeon was initially contacted to gauge his interest in the job, and he said he was not interested.
Sounds like Arky is focusing in on Mike Anderson and Buzz Williams. The Arkansas guy says the CBS Sports report that Anderson has accepted the job and presser scheduled is premature.

Turgeon has had pretty damn good success, and he has recruited really well at A&M.
He's 98-31 in his 4 seasons at A&M, and took Wichita State to the 2nd weekend in the tourney.
All we really lacked this year was a guard that could attack the rim (Dash Harris is not the same after his injury), and he has a top 10 guard in the nation coming in (Jamal Branch) that fits that mold.
To say Turgeon would be a terrible hire would be foolish. Oh, Anderson is 0-9 against Turgeon.

MU best team was the Smith Peeler team not the undefeated Big 8 team. But I think the 1990 Arky team was a better team than the 94 team.

The Piggies are going to give Mike Anderson (111–57 overall, 43–37 Big 12-2) $2.2 million per season over the course of seven years? Mike Krzyzewski only makes $1.2 per season. If you're going to give $2.2 per season, give it to Coack K!

Even if it were true that Coach K made that from Duke, do you not realize other sources could suppliment his income. It's Coach K for Christ's sake.
