I hate this type of take. It’s such loser mentality. While it might not be the most important type of series, winning and being competitive in games matter to the players playing the game. That’s why they play the game and got to the respective schools they are at. Coaches dictate who plays and are likely thinking ahead and letting other players get game time to save their best. But, to say there’s nothing to play for is dumb. No one likes to lose at something they are passionate about trying to always be better.

They literally haven’t blocked anything all year until today.. but there were 15,000 watching the lsu vs A&M game

Literally EVERY #1 SEED in the history of the SEC, ACC, and before this year the Big12, has had zero reason to think that a national seed is in jeopardy

Who cares? #1 seed still lost. If UT was #1 and we lost, you’d probably be one of the first here yapping that we lost. It literally is loser mentality. You’re here posting on a forum stating it doesn’t matter, but I don’t see you putting in the hours or playing games. Get real. Every game matters to a player. It just doesn’t matter to the fans seeing the #1 next to their teams name. And also, where did I say they had something to worry about? I stated it matters to the players actually out there playing the game that dedicated their time and life to the sport.
