Nah, we're locked in a 2 seed. Even if we had of won the tourney we probably wouldn't have moved up.

We did alright in 2021 getting run ruled twice in the SECT

After a much needed win, Aggy jumps all the way from #55 in RPI to #53

And that, in a nutshell, is why meaningless conference tournaments need to die. I can't imagine that they even make a profit, so in the future let's just skip to the main event.

How about you refrain from trying to change the conference traditions in your first year. Just my opinion. If you don't want to play, just forfeit your games and stay home. I think everyone else is here to play baseball.

How about you go frick yourself? I thought conference tournaments were stupid in the Big 12 too. The smart coaches (Augie, Schloss) don't try to win them, just use them as tune-ups for the big tournament. Only the desperate teams that don't even deserve to be in the big tourney, go all out to win them.

The SECT isn’t meaningless to teams on the bubble or teams looking to improve their seeding, which happens every year.

Speaking of things that should die, having an annual “neutral site” conference game in your state and only 3 hours away from your campus count as a road game should be at the top of the list.

I’m sure we won’t see any Whorns fans jumping on board for that though.

First round went about as expected. Should be some awesome games today.

Thought State was on the bubble, guess that was last week. If you’re getting a bid, might as well reset up. Getting run ruled, with aces on the bench, just doesn’t seem like it’s good for momentum.

MSU will be fine with Pico starting in a regional game.

I know this is foreign territory for you Horn fans, but in the SEC, your opinion is 1/16th relevant. The rest of us don't really care how you think it should be. This tournament is the last opportunity for some teams to make the postseason, and you aren't so important that you can take that away from them. You remind me of the "I don't like steak, so it shouldn't even be on the menu" type. When you get over the euphoria of smelling your own farts, you should watch. There is some good baseball being played this week.

The site of that game is 3 hours from OU's campus too (I grew up in the Dallas area and its full of OU fans and alumni). The pigs and aggy tried to recreate the atmosphere of that game, but failed. Don't Florida and Georgia also play at a neutral site in the fall? Get back to me when you guys realize having a championship game just up the road from Athens every year makes no sense.

Little disappointed we basically punted with Finateri today. I know Quick wanted to go and he wasn't that far off normal rest.

This will get ugly quickly.

When we inevitably take over this conference, which conference will you guys run to next?

We ran to a better opportunity, not from you.

If you think it was a fear thing, what do you think sounds scarier? Playing Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Ole Miss every year... or Texas? You are more impressed with yourself than the rest of us are.

We have not. We went to a harder conference with harder competition than the one team conference remembered as the SWC. I doubt you will find any Hog fans that regret the move.
