Problem is we’ve used up pitchers and Vandy has their full arsenal to use vs us. Not complaining just stating when you have lower seed you play more games with no day breaks at all. Vandy earned their bye games via reg season work so are rewarded for that which is the right way to do it. We still have decent pitching left but less options

It’s okay, no complaints here. If we bow out early, it’ll allow us to rest up but at least we saw Tennessee’s best guy and get some at live bats against him. Better to do it now than later on in the season if both teams make it to Omaha.
If you want to be the best you have to beat the best and right now we’ve sucked against very quality pitching. Let’s hope Ruger Riojas can get some confidence back before Regionals. Moving from the bullpen to Sunday starter to our Friday night game has been an adjustment for him the last 3-4 starts. Hoping he can get back on track.
