IDK man... We have lost some mid week games against much inferior comp. And DVH used those games to get a young, immature pitching staff up to snuff. Coaches determine a lot within a program. This is NOT a definitive conclusion.

if im not mistaken, didn't msu lose a lot of midweek games last year? lost a lot of conference games too, didn't they? didn't it take a sweep of a florida team that took the weekend off to even make a regional on the road, am I right? you guys got hot and rolled to Omaha, didn't they? this ole miss team could potentially do that too...probably wont, but we could. you guys beat a pretty solid team last night and tonight. hats off to your team

haha! we swept A&M and took 2 of 3 in Baton Rouge coming in to the weekend...losing to possibly the best team in the country this weekend doesn't compute to our team sucking, even though we gave the game away tonite. the season aint over

They may lose that host spot. Bookmark if you want. They were borderline projected at 14-15 before this weekend.

Some of our own State fans need to just enjoy winning the game. No need to act arrogant or low ball the Ole Miss baseball team. They are a good team.

If you say they suck or are bad, then that just diminishes what we just did.

Look I get some good natured ribbing. I get it in football, things get rough but baseball has typically been a bit more friendly between the fans historically. Still fiercely competitive but not so cutthroat off the field with the fans.

I enjoy good conversation about the players for both sides . I hate to see it disintegrate into a pi**ing match between some of the fans.

You know, some of our fans act like I hate the fact we won. Nobody likes beating Ole Miss anymore than I do but I call it like I see it regardless of the team. A few act like I am kissing up to Ole Miss because I said they are a good team,

By the way, a lot of our fans on here were saying we were going to blow it or that our bullpen sucks yada yada yada.

Now we get the win and Ole Miss sux and we are a great team.

GoDawgs4 you’re wasting your time with a few of our bandwagon fans. I’ve seen the same crowd always saying we will blow this or that in almost any game regardless of the sport. They only start talking crap after we win. I don’t consider those types true maroon and white fans.
