As someone 100% out of the loop with Georgia QBs, what is the status of Daniels?
I've heard he isn't cleared for contact. I assume that means he is still practicing but in a green jersey? When is he expected to be available?

He’s not cleared for full contact yet but he played in our Saturday scrimmage. He’ll be cleared before the start of the season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Mathis starts against Arkansas to be safe.

Daniels and Mathis are not cleared for contact. But who is allowing contact on their QBs right now? Why clear a QB for contact when no one practicing is permitted contact?
In a shortened 10 game season against nothing but SEC competition, your head coach is a dumbass if he's allowing contact on the QBs in practice.
