SEC loses in overtime of a playoff game and suddenly the world has fallen in. Amazing stuff. They're so butthurt from the dominance.
Kind of like last year when everyone acted like Ohio State & The Big Ten sucked because Ohio State lost to Georgia in the playoff when they missed a FG on the final play of the game.
Pretty much the equivalent of Bama losing in overtime to Michigan.
In both cases the difference in talent was miniscule.
Pretending otherwise is just goofy.

That adult Texas fan in the stands was pretty cringeworthy.

The northern teams long before integration got both the best white and black players.
Going to Big 10 teams back then was an escape from poverty in the South.

U-dub players are a bit confused. Yes the game was played in the South, but Texas is Southwest..except for parts of Southeast Texas that may as well be far west Louisiana.

So grateful that UW has cleared the board of Texas Conference Herpes for the time being.

It’s funny bc neither team in the championship game would’ve survived a season in the sec. mizzou and ole miss woulda hurt them. Georgia and Tennessee wouldn’t have been fun games for them at all. LSU Probly would put 60 on them.
Muhhhh grind!!!! Sure, two out of three teams in the playoff beat Bama, who was yet again undefeated in SEC play, and the third team beat Texas who won by double digits at Bama…..but muh grind dry couldn’t handle it!
Hilarious that all season long this Bama team just isn’t that good, but none of the Billy badass SEC teams could beat them.

I don't know the backstory but a metric ton of us were rooting for Washington and happy as hell about an SEC-free finals.

We DO know they would’ve beaten kansas, Oklahoma State, and Arizona.

We're all still here laughing at how A&M's Superbowl was Texas losing in the CFP.
