Weird how Bama fans used Wisky's defense as an example of the stellar defenses they have faced this year. Now suddenly it was overrated.

so when aranda shuts down offenses, well, he was supposed to do that. when he gives up points/yards to the very best teams, see he sucks. he's one of the most sought after dc's but, oh his reputation is built on smoke and mirrors. geniuses.

nevermind that the game isn't solely played by the defense. in the games against the best opponents, wisky's offense and special teams had roles to play too. that affects the defense's stats because they're out on the field longer/in bad field position.

but keep being stupid.

UW's offense was way below it's average this year. The defense is the only reason we won 10 games. And frankly we would have had 12 wins with an even average running game. Both the Iowa and NW losses were offensive failures from the 1 yard line.

Iowa only needed 38 yards, due to turnovers, to get their ten points for instance.

Aranda is a very good DC and will be missed.

It should be noted that he converted the D to a 3-4 his first year and made it work with the players he had. I expect him to do very well with LSU's talent.

Will that give you enough time to punch in for your shift?

Waiting for his shift to start, Tuscaloosa continues his internal struggle with incoherent babbling.

It is a great hire!

However, I do not think it was the defense that has hurt LSU as much as the offense.

IF LSU can get the offense clicking, they will be almost impossible to beat.

Comparison is not relevant. He will have much better athletes now.

its completely relevant because he had athletes that were superior to his competition there. he will have athletes superior to Wisconsin now, that's true but they wont be superior to his competition anymore.

A little research goes a long way.

Wisconsin class rankings (In the Big 10):

2015 - 6th
2014 - 5th
2013 - 6th
2012 - 14th (Last)
2011 - 9th

So, tell me again how much better his athletes were than his competition....

Do you have something to dispute in the OP?

Just presenting facts. You don't have to like it.

We could talk about our offensive performance against Aggie and TTU too, does that mean jack shite, none at all.

Bill Belichick could hold those teams to under 28 if he was at Wisconsin.
