Wright was well enough to participate in two different camps, baw. Wright, if LSU chooses to do so, will play college football after being employed by two different NFL teams in July and August.

Did they? I don't believe Harris practiced at all. Wright missed a ton of time.

UDFA's sign in April and May. Why is Sterling Webb no allowed eligibility but Cole Hutson is?

Zxavian Harris was signed as an UDFA and never practiced once due to injury. How is Cole Hutson less of a pro than that? He went to 2 mini camps for tryouts.

You can nitpick all you want, Hutson may not violate the letter or the rule but he does violate the spirit of the rule. And anyone who defends his eligibility is being disingenuous. Its the same thing.

Also, this isn't just football. There are 300+ (450 on one site I saw) athletes that are suing. I don't know if the sport split is public.

I hope the players lose in Louisiana so this stupidity can end, but some of you acting like adding preseason squad members is so very different from a mini camp player is retarded.

Fact 2: The NCAA granting a fifth year was announced on June 23rd. This is after all minicamps were done.

This is a fact but it is completely irrelevant because

Fact 2.1 The 5 for 5 rule did not grant a 5th year to any student athlete part of previous Sr class regardless of professional status or sport. In fact it specifically states:

quote:

Student-athletes who used their final season of competition (under previous rules) during 2025-26. No additional eligibility.
