Cohen is 1/10 of the committee. This is so tired.

I’m sure you would be glad to switch regionals with ole miss then

Sure - State hasn't lost 2 games in Oxford in what seems like forever

It’s better than 0/10. I’d prefer to have sec representation than not regardless of school but don’t act like it isn’t helpful to some degree.

Ole Miss has lost the same amount of home regional games in the last 5 years as State has lost games in Oxford.

There are two Cohens on the committee. John Cohen and Jennifer Cohen

Looks like the rain has pushed today's game off a day. Would have preferred to play the winner of the loser bracket game tonight. That's not going to happen. I do know to be a winner, you play who you play. You play them when you play them and you beat them.

Yeah ,not the first time it’s happened to us. There is an advantage playing tonight because the other team wouldn’t be as rested. Looks like they will be now. That sux.

Meh. It’s a two way street. Sometimes playing a doubleheader can help settle in early in the second game. Not unheard of to see teams continue momentum going into game 2 either. The true advantage is having these teams burn pitchers that we don’t have to.

Yeah but winning tonight would have guaranteed us getting one extra days rest before a quick turnaround playing in the super regional.

Hardly any difference in 4 days rest compared to 5. This isn’t football lol.

Random fun fact for State fans but this has what to do with my post?

They beat UVA twice midweek…which looks good…but outside of that it’s 20 games against a complete arse of a schedule.

That’s a garbage statistic. It means something COMPLETELY different if they did that in a half-assed conference.

Winning 22 games in a row in baseball is super impressive at any level. Get over yourself.
