I can’t imagine how it feels to wait 37 years for my team to win a National Championship and still have no idea if it’s going to happen in my life time. Were you alive when Georgia won that thing in 1980? It makes sense if you weren’t most of you guys just started rooting for UGA halfway through last year, and completely overlook how much of a joke you were before 2017.

Only Auburn can botch the definition of "win".
Mullen coached at Miss St for 9 years. Only once did he have a winning record in conference play.
That is worse than Vanderbilt.
That is worse than Arkansas.
That is worse than Ole Miss.
Pick a team in the conference. Mullen did a worse job putting together winning seasons in conference play than any program in the conference.

I'm taking shots at Mullen.
In the 9 years prior to Mullen at Miss St, they had a winning conference record once (matches Mullen's total).
In the 9 years before that, Miss St had 3 seasons with winning records in conference play.
This illusion that Mullen established himself as a great coach at a bad program is going to tarnish and fade fast down in Gainesville.
This isn't shade at Miss St. They've had 9 year runs better than Mullen has given them. They can definitely get there again.
