He is right. LSU was shitty in baseball until Skip Bertman came along and turned them into one of the best programs ever. Since then, they have always been good.
LSU basketball wasn't good until Dale Brown came along and started winning big in the 80s. LSU's basketball and baseball teams have much bigger accomplishments than Bama, but they were not real good before they started accomplishing all that stuff. Bama had more consistency as a team throughout their program histories and beat LSU a lot of times.
