8-5 and lost to Iowa in the Outback Bowl.

But Moorhead was an upgrade to Mullen

If Mullen had stayed they would have been a hell of a team last year. I suspect we will see them go back to their norm.

I mean to say they aren't a top recruiter. . .it is improbable that they will field a reasonable team after losing 3 1st round picks.

It does give them a good pitch to recruits, though

They would’ve gone 11-1 with Mullen last year, probably could’ve beaten Bama

But to be fair, Iowa just had two 1st rounders themselves (okay, one of them didn't play but whatever) and AJ Epenesa will be a top 5 pick next year

Mullen probably only wins the Florida game. Our offense with him folded against the good defenses we played last year.

Can’t win when your QB can’t throw.

I’ll always worry about Miss St because they’re the last conference game Bama plays right before the Iron Bowl. And State always plays Bama hard as hell. If y’all think State won’t be a threat to any of us any given Saturday, you’re being naive.

We generally do fine on the defensive side of the ball. We've had a ton of great defensive players in the past. It's offensive production that needs to pick up.

States only had 1 QB drafted in the first 7 rounds. Can't wait to see the excuses when Nick gets drafted in the 7th

Nah we don't have the coaching to be a threat. A QB that wasn't much better graded than Nick had great success at Penn State yet once Moorhead comes to MSU Nick sucks arse

Doesn't matter what he's getting drafted for. Outside of 1 QB in MSU history, no other QB will be drafted as high as he is.

Which means once again that MSU failed to win games because their offensive genius was obsessed with Nick F and passing 100 times rather than establishing a running game with Aeris or Hill.

So since he sucks so much Mayden or KT should be the upgrade and fix everything right? Oh wait?

Ya, if you’re not smart enough to figure this out, I’m done here. Too tired, nice gotcha attempt tho.

Obviously you're not smart enough to figure this out. You're part of the contention that is satisfactory with mediocrity as long as the barometer is Ole Miss.

MSU is in the worst shape to compete for the SEC since 2009 and everyone is just shrugging their shoulders.

We missed our window. Just like baseball did when Polk was continuing to be worshipped for mediocrity
