Dak was faithful to his commitment that he made for a long time. LSU tried to come in at the end and tell him he can play QB, but he stuck with who was with him the entire time.

If Mullen could find anyone to put around this guy he would be the media's darling this season.

200/300 66.7%

18 TDs
1 INT

151 passer rating
80/84 raw/adj QBR

0/1 spring break fights

He's literally only missing a RB. I don't know if you watch the games, but he's not throwing those TDs to no one. Wilson and Ross are legit NFL talents, Wilson being much moreso though.

No doubt. Was watching last night and was happy we would never face him again.

The OL needs major help too. That's part of the RB's problems. Same goes for Auburn. They're a much better team with a better OL.

Ryan Leaf was 1 or 2 in draft at one time. So good barometer.

Despite what MSU fans think, Dak would be terrible in LSU's offense.

He's not a dropback passer.

Mullen won 24 games in the three seasons prior to Dak being a starting quarterback at State. In one of those seasons he won 9 games and finished 15th in the country with a QB that had no other power 5 offers in Chris Relf.

Not to mention the other QBs he coached including Josh Harris, Alex Smith, Chris Leak, Tebow, and now Dak.

You're right, Mullen needs to cut bait and get to a better program quickly and he'll actually win 10 games a season and meaningful postseason accolades.

I'm glad he's gone, but he's been a joy to watch

Same thing I've said about Tebow, Newton, Mcfadden, Julio

Makes this conference fun

I tend to agree. He's a great QB, but not every player fits every system.

It's sad he went to Moo State and gets so little exposure.

Poor bastard.

He's a pretty good QB. I wouldn't put him in Cam's league as a player or a person.

I've never seen Dak take a victory lap after a TD or blow kisses to the fans. Much more likable than Cam but not the superhuman QB Newton was.

You mean like he did last year, and like he probably will again this year.

Wow, just wow

Drew Brees wasn't a drop back passer either when Cam got him. How did that turn out?
