well...people typically don't just go around smashing bottles over people's heads like it's fricking Roundhouse.
Never happened to me or any of my friends. Typically if you get smashed with a bottle, you did something. Not saying he started it....but he definitely did something.

I agree but you can't just write it off like it wasn't started by him. Like someone else said, he's known to run his mouth a little. That doesn't mean they should have thrown a bottle at him and them jumped him. Just saying he needs to be aware that he's not invincible.
