Overall, I think they have us in baseball by a little bit, but when you think about the CWS, etc, you know who the better program is.

Then again really don't follow.

But ya if we lose this weekend, I'll just play the logic. Hey mother f'ers 87-75 only? come and catch us BITCHES.

And if we win... I will just laugh because we really are awful

Really? having barely over a .600 winning % over 100 games is dominating?

I think the facts show that Clemson has, in fact, dominated this rivalry. The series record is now 65-40-4. However, that stat doesn't tell the whole story. Because the rivalry game has mostly been always played at USC, 49 of Clemson's wins have come as the away team. That is what makes the rivalry record in favor of Clemson "dominating" in my opinion.

The interesting thing is that since 1988, Clemson has only lost three games in Columbia.

And while USCe entered the golden age of their football program by first hiring Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz and following Holtz with Spurrier, I found it interesting that during USCe golden age, Holtz and Spurrier are a combined 5-8 against Clemson.

However, the funny thing about that stat is that Clemson has been a mediocre to average at best team during this time period, yet has continued to find a way to beat USC. And these are Clemson teams that have been coached by Tommy Bowden and Dabo Swinney!

Uh Holtz wasnt a golden age guy. He was a quick fix. He was 1-5 in Clemzen so don't match what he did against the Tiggers compared to Spurrier who is 4-3. Bowden, if nothing else, was good for beating us.. how do you think he kept his job? They may have never been stellar but they were never bad.

Dabo on the other hand is 1-3 vs SC, 3 of those losses in the last 3 years by a combined score of 97-37.

The facts are Clempson has always stressed winning football games, and if they don't have a good season their goal was always to beat us. For too long SC fans always supported our beloved Gamecocks but accepted mediocrity season after season. That has changed and you can see it on the field.

Never seen anything like this. Clemson is over. We won. Bowl prep now. Enough of all this tweet drama. Let Clemson be Clemson.

I want Spurrier to say something.

make it funnier.

Now it's just getting boring.

Then again Spurrier gets more joy out of making fun of SEC teams.
Even in his 7 years here I still don't think he's grasped the Rivalry.(yes I know state Championship comments he makes etc etc)

They just showed Swinney on ESPNews saving face. Saying that if one of his radio guys were saying anything about him he'd tell them to take it down.

Whatever he is doing these last few years, it has worked. You don't fix what isn't broken.

Wasn't saying he had to fix anything.

Just think the Spurrier of Old would make a comment.

Unless I'm missing something has he said anyhting yet?

Didn't say you were. Just saying I'm happy with what he has been doing.

And he came back with the "Smart people" comment. Dabo isn't worth his time to come up with a good jab.

Clemson ain't Tennessee and they ain't FSU.

you know what though. It's still a rival. That is huge in this state for our fans. Think it would be great for the fans because you know how 85% of them are sitting at the edge of their seats waiting for this.

Just now saw the Smart people comment though, I think Spurrier has a better one brewing after Dabo's rebuttal to his Rant on CFB Live.

Check out what this Clemson fan said. It's hilarious.

quote:

1st - who cares what he says?
2nd - he's wrong
3rd - What surrier said was quoted out of his own camp
4th - Based on Dabo's comments, ain't nobody in his head
5th - Clemson is gonna dominate SC
6th - Dabo could well go down in history as one of the greatest coaches.
7th - spurrier did nothing at florida that others could not do. Meyer in his short tinure proved that.
