If anything, a minimum punishment should be suspension.
However this is handled sends a message much more important than one game.
His actions were consequential in a serious injury, the consequences should be serious.
It is already messed up there is no law on the books in SC to make possible an enhanced penalty for reckless driving that results in serious bodily injury.

The answer to both is yes. My opinion on it is irrelevant. The punishment from UGA is relevant. What was the punishment? Nothing.
