I feel like Elijah MacNamee has already become a breakout star during our run last year to the CWS.

ETA: I think Jake Mangum can make a run at player of the year if he breaks the all time hits record in SEC.

LSU is going to dominate. I feel sorry for the rest of the SEC.

It appears more of these pundits feel that Vanderbilt is going to dominate, spare a bit of your pity

Duplantis is going to break that record too, so Mangum is gonna have to do a little more than that. Cabrera is taking home POY regardless

Yep, he will. Jake currently sits 7 hits above Duplantis. Gonna be a fun race to watch. I’m expecting at least 90 from Jake, so Duplantis might have to hit the 100 mark. Can be done.

Yeah Duplantis has had 89, 90, and 89 hits each season he's been at LSU. I think how deep each go in the postseason could likely determine who ends up with the title. Big thing for Duplantis this season is he'll now be batting leadoff with a lot more protection than he's ever had before.
