This defense is really poor. Beede pitched pretty damn well, but the defense just kept fumbling plays that should be routine. It's so frustrating that he finally had a good outing after his recent struggles, but now the defense has let him down.

I love Corbin but he and Scott Brown have just mismanaged Beede all year long. Leaving him in too long time after time to hang himself when everyone else knows he's done.

My only guess for why they have kept Beede in there for so long is that they need to extend their pitching

Hate to see it end like that for Beede... Really hoped he get Towns out there.

This is so frustrating to watch. They have had Beede's number for two innings now. Peppering him all over the field. This one is on Corbin.
