It hasn't been a strike all day, but the problem is that this ump hasn't been consistent.
Sometimes the ball down is a ball, sometimes it's a strike. Sometimes the ball two inches off the outside corner is a ball, sometimes it's a strike.
These pitchers have to be so frustrated.
That being said, that was a great piece of hitting by the UVA guy, and a mediocre pitch by the Arkansas guy.

That first pitch to Pavin was a ball but was called strike. It goes both ways

FWIW, Oregon won the title in men's track, UF 2nd and hogs 3rd. Women through about halfway Oregon leading, hogs 2nd and uga 3rd.

Because he's the only guy that can tie it basically. Sets up double play. And it takes bat because they'll start the bunting game.
