Holy fricking shite-balls...
I don't know about Auburn, but if you think Alabama receives preferential treatment from the zebras, you seriously need to open you eyes.
I'll concede the PP7 non-interception call in '09 was BS, but there were also three questionable/bullshite calls in that game that went LSU's way as well. Peterson's call stood out the most because of how close the game was and it happened at a critical point in the game.
I've seen numerous times where calls were missed against 'Bama in almost every game, and I've also seen where calls were missed against Alabama's opponents.
It's a two-way street, peeps, whether you want it to be or not. Sit down and watch an entire game next time if you'd like to see it for yourself.
Have we forgotten the Arkansas and Georgia games last year? Or the 2004 and 2006 LSU games? Seriously, take your REC BS (which you were beating around the bush) back to ITAT or ATPB.

1. I believe bama gets the calls and benefit of the doubt a disproportionate amount. I won't speculate as to why and do not believe it is necessarily intentional and I do not believe it is any conspiracy, but I think it happens year in and year out over time.

IMO Auburn gets the most "close calls" go their way.
I've felt for UA and UF when Playing AU, otherwise, sec officials are weak

SEC always takes care of its milk cow....every year the benefit goes to the better teams
2007- LINK
yall got the calls, 2009 florida got the calls against arkansas, 2009 we got the interception call against you, last year auburn got away with stuff. Its nothing to do with the state of alabama, its all about making sure we have teams in the best bowls so we get the most money.

To the OP - did you watch the Arkansas game last Sat? Not the reason we lost or anything, but we got hosed on some big calls. Everyone has calls for them and against them. Even LSU (one that immediately comes to mind is the spot on 4th down in the 2007 game in BR).

The quality of officiating is not uniform from crew to crew in the SEC. Some crews are awful. Some are good. Every team in the league has been the beneficiary of some bad calls. Some of them really bad. I don't think LSU or any other school gets worse/better treatment.

It seems with the Wing "taunting" penalty that the "State of Alabama" favoritism in officiating is beginning to surface again.
You do realize that Florida isn't in Alabama, right?

You can go frick yourself asshat
1. I have never made a post on ITAT and rarely even go there. ATPB? Maybe you should take your arse there gump. Why would I? That is where YOU belong.
2. I stated my opinion and said so. A lot of others share that opinion, in fact it seems to be a consensus around the SEC in general. I can name a half dozen bad calls ALL in Bama's favor from last year's IB alone. There is no need to go down that road (as you seem to want) however.

How did you come to the conclusion that a penalty in the LSU / UF game shows SEC favoritism to the "State of Alabama"?

Since CPA isn't here.

Don't hit'em with stats and facts, it screws everything up

Its amazing that LSU fans always conveniently forget that EASILY the worst call of the 2009 SEC season went their favor in the Arkansas game.
Petrino really should be undefeated against LSU. Move the SEC office out of Birmingham.

Just curious if you clicked the link and happened to notice that less penalties get called on bama than any team in the SEC every single year?
Bama is ranked #2, #1, #3, #2, #1 in having the fewest penalties called against them.
Argue that however you like, just pointing out what the stats show.

Bama prides itself on discipline and good sportsmanship.

Sounds good to me.
I just stated my opinion here and not just as it relates to bama, but I think the home teams in the SEC tend to get too many calls as well.

I clicked on the link and noticed that Bama's opponents have been called for less penalties than any other SEC team

Actually middle of the pack at a 5.8 ranking for opponents penalties called.
