The hate is just so thick you can cut it with a knife.
If AU fans were really just AU fans it would be alright. This is not the case however, as seemingly a majority of AU fans are so obsessed with Bama they can't discern the difference between AU fandom and Bama hatred.
It is sad. The kid didn't go to AU, stop caring about Rashaan and move on.

Soon we will just have a slew of articles about gumps doing worse and death threats to players and harassing recruits etc.
Difference being the majority of us won't be defending the stupid acts like you guys are.
I love how future possible occurrences give you a reason to harass a teenager and his family all because they didn't pick your school.
He isn't your slave.
You don't own him.
He has the right to choose and used it.
DWI.

You can likewise stop acting self-righteous about Bama people acting self-righteous, given that the easiest and quickest way to learn about Bama crazies is to wait for Auburn and LSU fans to come post self-righteous threads about Bama crazies
Funny you didn't mention Vandy fans reaction to James Franklin's departure and subsequent recruiting efforts in your diatribe.
Odd, that.

At what point will the 18 year olds grow up and stop with all the hat charades and turning recruiting into a media frenzy. Implement an early signing day and a lot of this would go away.

At what point will grown men, adults, act their damn age and not attack and harass a teenager and his family for making a decision where he'll spend the next years of his life?
At what point do these adults realize these kids aren't slaves, they don't own these kids, these kids don't owe them anything and these kids will do what is best for themselves and their families and not some stranger who wouldn't give two shites about them if not for their ability?

Surprised some of this hate from you Auburn guys isn't being directed at the "sources" you have that claimed he was a lock. You know, the "sources" that caused some of you to parade around the SECRB and AU recruiting thread acting like some sort of insider.
Sounds like the "sources" RE is using to say that people have been told not to serve his family at restaurants or use his family's business.
Oh, but he's telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth right?
Or did I miss his naming of names in the midst of his menstruation?

It's ironic you guys call yourselves a "family" yet you guys try to threaten, pressure and force these kids to go to your school.

Not odd at all, unless you're really determined to find something odd, in which case I saw this show on the Discovery Channel about "ancient aliens" that I think you might like.
Vandy fans being unhappy about their coach leaving isn't actually relevant to this slapfight here and Vandy fans aren't getting hypocritically self-righteous with other fanbases, which was the thrust of my point. Your retort is a total non sequitur because I wasn't even questioning whether fans have a right to be unhappy. We pretty much acknowledge our unhappiness with the situation and riot all over Knoxville because that worked marvelously for UT when Kiffin left.
Sorry, friend, fallacious redirection (ignoratio elenchi, red herring, take your pick) and false correlation aren't actually going to work with me. Though I'm sure you consider them very clever, so I applaud the effort.

One of the few sidewalker Bama fans I am friends with on Facebook posted after the BCSCG that watching Auburn lose was a better feeling that watching Bama beat Notre Dame the year before.
