Coach Saban was a damn fine coach. A mastermind who played the game like a champion. Hated that he left LSU, but he did make Bama relevant again. Good luck and good riddance

I'm not surprised he retired. I think even he knew his decisions were getting worse and he didn't do the Bowden slide.

For sure. Dude adapted and evolved unlike any other coach I’ve seen in modern CFB. Ton of respect for him. His players seem to genuinely appreciate how he developed them.

Agree 100%....none of us will live long enough to see what he accomplished happen again....not a Bama fan, but I don't mind giving due respect.

Also, shoutout to him for retiring at his age. He amassed a great resume of success at multiple places, and tried the NFL. Now go live life and relax!

If that's what you consider a loser I hope we have 10 more of them.

Amen. And the day that motherfricker dies, I’ll be sure to spit on his grave.

Absolutely. We went 12-2, was in the playoff, the two losses were to the #1 and #3 teams, and we beat several top 15 teams ... all on the way to the 16th year in a row of 10 win seasons.

Disappointed? Absolutely. Our goal is a national championship every year. But if this is "going out as a loser", there are some people who have totally lost all sense of perspective.
