There is 1 QB with multiple wins over top 10 teams: Joe Burrow.

There is also 1 P5 QB completing less than 47% of his throws: Joe Burrow.

Can you imagine when he gets that % rate up close to 60 or over?

I have an imagination, but come on. No one can imagine that.

It’s almost as if it’s harder to complete passes against good defenses, weird.

He completed 50% vs Southeastern Louisiana, so, that ain't gonna work.

I think so. He will only gain more confidence as the season goes along. Has only been here some 2 months. By all accounts his strength was his accuracy. Now we haven't seen it but I'll hold off on that final judgement.

He made some critical and accurate throws in the second half.

Beat two top 10 teams and we sitting at #6. Seems to be working out pretty good so far

He's started a total of three games. And done it with an OL missing two starters. Brosette has started only three games as well. As the OL continues to improve...it only gave up one sack to Auburn...the offense should get better.

I will say I was surprised at the end of the Auburn game that he was under 50%. It didn't seem like he was missing a ton of throws. I guess he just had a lot of difficult 1-on-1 jump ball type throws.

Or maybe LSU wins because of its defense and inspite of Burrow

No. He's been really good in both top 10 wins. He is in absolute control of the offense. No issues with clock management. Gets us in the right play, and makes the clutch throws when we need them.

He would’ve been 75% without Auburn defenders tackling LSU WRs.

He's only started 3 games. It took Mettenberger half a season before he started playing well.

That's all fine, but the "well he played good defenses" line doesn't work for SE Louisiana. That's all.

Burrow is throwing low completion passes the majority of the time. He is putting it in a place where only one man can get it. Unfortunately that means he will miss on quite a few due to the nature of WRs dropping balls and PIs that aren’t called.
