"my team lost by 30 points but we are still better"

sounds like your typical sports fan to me

AUCE05 you should be a Georgia Tech fan. You would fit right in you would rather see Georgia lose than to see Auburn win.

This dude doesn't even really watch college Football, well, outside of a couple southern cal games. He is nearly spot on with his NFL observations but he will say stuff about college Football that makes you go wtf?

He once said the SEC shouldn't be good because most teams are in small markets

This is all radio theatre. Cowherd has learned from Finebaum that the best way to build caller volume is to bait SEC teams. Especially Bama. He talks out of his arse 99 percent of the time just like Finebaum to get the call volume up. All he has to do is say something bombastic and then open the phone lines. Easy Peasy the ratings happen.

Scarbinsky tries this as well but isnt as good at it.

Good lord no. Especially not Ohio State.

UGA would have 2 losses if they were in any other conference (even the pac-12)

(especially the Pac 12 comment)

Auburn will handle us with no problem, maybe by 14-24 points

Auburn is good and can win but this is stupid.

Iowa totally destroyed the Buckeyes natty dreams in 2017.
No way the Nuts are top 4 after that performance.

He’s just upset that he’s now looking like the biggest moron in talk radio and he just wants to take his ball and go home since all the kids are making fun of him,

Guy is a tool and he knows it.

Something tells me when the playoffs start and another SEC teams wins it that he’ll just talk about bias and how the playoffs are rigged and in no way determines the best team.

I’m sure m, if he hasn’t already, will explain how a 2 loss Big 10 should still be in and if they aren’t that they would’ve ran the table. He forgets how many points that league has scored in the playoffs last year.

Personally, I like Cowherd. He definitely has a bias for LA teams, Lebron, and against the SEC, but he has one of the better radio sports shows on National TV. He has some good takes, great guests, and keeps me interested I kno its not poplar with a lot of y'all on here but I like watching the Herd. I think Cowherds a good guy. Reminds me of my Dad.

I feel the same way Reb. But, agree with others that while he is still spot-on in his takes on NFL teams(even if his Blazin 5 doesn't always shine)..that his NCAA opinions have slipped over the last decade..especially where his SEC bias bites him.

The problem is it’s a simulcast and no longer involves callers. It’s basically a Cowherd editorial. At least Kristine Leahy is cute. When Colin was with ESPN he pumped up SEC...since Fox has Big 10 tv rights, he now pumps up Big 10. But his man crush on Urban Meyer is a bit much..at times I suspect he wants to drop to his knees and show Urban just how much he admires him

Isn't Cowherd the one who proclaimed Bama to be finished after they lost the game to LSU in 2011? Then again after they lost to Auburn in 2013?

Right, and the Saban dynasty was over after the 2014 Ole Miss game.
If only I could be wrong that often and still have a cushy job.

I remember Cowherd being about the only person that predicted that Bama would blow the doors off LSU in the title rematch. He got a lot of shite for that prediction until kickoff.

Dude knows what he's doing, even if he sometimes only does it to piss people off.
