Could LSU be playing their way out of the tournament?

Not a troll thread, I want LSU in as I want 4-5 SEC teams in the tournament. Their defense looks atrocious. They have A&M, Arkansas, and UGA left on the schedule. They should win all 3, however with the way they’re playing nothing is set in stone. No great wins. A really bad loss against Vandy. Are they the lock we thought they were?

Nah, the only way they even feel heat is 0-3 plus 1 and a que in Nashville.

Thankfully A&M and UGA still come to BR.
LSU also is almost locked in for the double bye in the SEC tournament by having wins over A&M and Miss St as well as being up two games

Agree - in this day and age where everybody outside of the top 4-5 teams (if that) can be somewhat interchangable just as long as you avoid the #1 seed for a while there isn't THAT much difference in the teams you get.

I think you guys go 2-1 at worst over your next 3 however let’s say you go 0-3. At that point I’d rather have the single bye, so your playing a worse opponent to get you to that 20th win.

The only thing about dropping to a 10 seed though is that it's based on the way we're playing. You don't want to be going backwards at this time of year.

LOL no you don't
You guys have 4 Q1 wins and are 15-1 vs Q2-4. I'm pretty sure you would still make the tournament even if you lost out.

You say you aren’t trolling but this is a really bad take. LSU is still probable more of a sure thing than Florida. LSU would have to lose out and th at isn’t happening.

They won by two at home against us.
I doubt they win in Fayetteville. We would have 2 to 3 more wins if Joe would have been healthy.

Yeah. Our team has regressed of late. Not sure what’s going on, but Wade needs to fix it. The loss to Vandy really fricked them up.
